The Inauguration of the Online Training Courses on E-Commerce Solutions and Supply Chain Management (ESC) and Postal Business Development (PBD)
The inauguration of the online training courses on E-Commerce Solutions and Supply Chain Management (ESC) and Postal Business Development (PBD) was on 24 May 2021 at 09.30 hrs. (Bangkok time). The inauguration was presided over by Mr. LIN Hongliang, the Secretary General of APPU. Ms. Kwanjai Kajornwutthideth, Manager Administration & APPU Affairs, Ms. YU Yan – PBD Course Director, and Ms. Padmaghanda Mishra – ESC Course Director also participated in the function. These two courses will be running from 24 May to 11 June 2021.
The ESC Course has been attended by 10 participants from 10 countries namely Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Tonga. Meanwhile, the PBD has been attended by 10 participants from 8 countries namely Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga and Vietnam.
The topics of the E-Commerce Solutions and Supply Chain Management Course cover E-Commerce: Challenges and Opportunities; Quality Concepts and UPU Quality Control System (QCS); Total quality Management and Empowerment; Innovation and Leadership; Global Postal Strategy and Global Postal Model; Marketing Related to Operations; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Last Mile Delivery and Fulfillment; UPU Quality Audit and Certification; Customer Experience Management; Project Management; and System Approach to Quality.
Whereas the Postal Business Development Course’s objectives are to equip the participants with the concepts of Global Postal Strategy; Marketing and Branding; Business Development; New Product / Services Development; New Generation of Customers and the Mail; Reducing Emission in the Postal Sector; the Drive to an Innovative Organization.
